CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Dr. Chad Davis

Dr. Chad Davis has been in the field of education for twenty years. He is a lifelong resident of Hancock County and an alumnus of Hancock High School. After graduating from high school, Dr. Davis attained Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business administration from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Master’s degree in secondary education from William Carey University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Davis started his career at Hancock Middle School in 2005, where he taught students in grades six through eight. During his time at HMS, he also served as club sponsor, grade level chairperson, teacher support team chairperson, and assistant principal. In 2017, Dr. Davis was named Director of the Hancock County Career Technical Center, a position he held until 2021.

Throughout his career, Dr. Davis has strived to make decisions in the best interests of students. In the role of Chief Operations Officer, he will continue to do so by providing support to ensure that students have access to the resources needed to reach their maximum potential. Dr. Davis says that “Hancock County is among the top districts in the state of Mississippi because of our excellent teachers, terrific students, dedicated parents, and involved community members. I look forward to working with Mr. Ladner and all district personnel as we strive to promote continued student engagement and achievement.”
