14.       Approval of recommendation of Tina Perkins as teacher for a contingent contract, effective August 1, 2017, for the 2017 – 2018 school year at Hancock High School, pending certification, at a daily rate commensurate to the respective certified teacher salary scale.

15.       Approval of recommendation to transfer Tonya Green from the position of teacher to the position of Librarian at East Hancock Elementary School for the           2017 – 2018 school year. (Board Policies GBD, GBBA)

16.       Approval of recommendation to employ Susan Delmore as a full time bus aide for the Hancock County School District Department of Transportation,          effective March 16, 2017, for the remainder of the 2016 – 2017 school year, subject to the successful completion of the necessary background checks.       (Board Policies GC & IFBA)

 

17.       Approval of recommendation to employ Mia Lee as a non-certified substitute for the 2016 – 2017 school year, for the purpose of training for five        days at Hancock North Central Elementary School, at a daily rate of $75.00, subject to the successful completion of the necessary background checks.

 

18.       Approval of recommendation to employ Mia Lee as secretary at Hancock North Central Elementary School for the 2017 – 2018 school year, subject to    the successful completion of the necessary background checks.

 

19.       Approval of recommendation to employ Judy Padron as a substitute cafeteria worker, effective March 20, 2017, for the remainder of the 2016 – 2017   school year, subject to the successful completion of the necessary background checks.  (Board Policy GCD)

 

20.       Approval of recommendation to accept the resignation of Barbara McGrath as cafeteria worker at Hancock Middle School effective May 24, 2017.         (Board Policy GBO)

 

21.       Approval of recommendation of overtime pay at time and a half to Child Nutrition employees for working on March 10, 2017.  (Board Policy GCRAA)

 

22.       Approval of recommendation of Carol Armbrester as a long-term substitute teacher at South Hancock Elementary School, effective March 20, 2017, for     the remainder of the 2016 – 2017 school year, subject to the successful completion of the necessary background checks at a daily rate of $100.00.

23.       Approval of recommendation that all certified and non-certified staff at East Hancock Elementary School be eligible for the additional duty of after          school tutor, detention monitor and homebound teacher for the 2017 – 2018 school year.

 

24.       Approval of recommendation to accept the resignation of Debra Bermond as cafeteria worker at South Hancock Elementary School effective May 23,         2017.  (Board Policy   GBO)

 

25.       Approval of recommendation that all certified staff at Hancock Middle School be eligible for the additional duty of homebound teacher, after school detention monitor and after school tutor for the 2017 – 2018 school year.   

 

26.       Approval of recommendation that all certified staff at Hancock North Central Elementary School be eligible for the additional duty of homebound           teacher, after school detention monitor and after school tutor for the 2017 – 2018 school year.       

 

27.       Approval of recommendation that all certified staff at Hancock High School be eligible for the additional duty of homebound teacher, after school tutor          and Saturday school for the 2017 – 2018 school year.          

 

28.       Approval of recommendation to employ four career tech students for intern positions within the maintenance department and two students for intern         positions within the transportation department for 8 weeks not to exceed 30 hours per week at and hourly rate of $10.00

 

29.       Approval of lump sum payment for accumulated annual leave for retiring personnel.

 

30.       Approval of recommendation to accept the resignation of Cathy Wilson as Public Relations Director for the Hancock County School District effective     May 26, 2017.

 

31.       Approval of recommendation to increase one guidance secretarial position from a 10 month to a 12 month position at Hancock High School for the 2017 –       2018 school year.

32.       Approval of recommendation to eliminate the position of Head Mechanic and replace the position with Lead Transportation Service Technician effective   April 10, 2017.
