1.         Declaration of continued state of emergency for Hancock County School District.

2.         Approval of recommendation to employ Patricia Corban as teacher at South           Hancock Elementary School for the 2017 – 2018 school year, subject to the          successful completion of the necessary background checks.

 

3.         Approval of recommendation to make application to the State Department of         Education for a one year interim license in the area of special education for     Jordyn Williams for the 2017– 2018 school year. (Board Policy GBBA)

4.         Approval of recommendation to make application to the State Department of         Education for a one year interim license in the area of special education for Kelly       Gilbert for the 2017– 2018 school year. (Board Policy GBBA)

12.       Approval of recommendation to transfer Chasity Farmer from the 8 hour 10           month secretarial position to the 8 hour 12 month secretarial position for the     Department of Transportation for the 2017 – 2018 school year.

 

13.       Approval of recommendation to employ Kelly Gilbert as a long-term substitute      teacher at South Hancock Elementary School for the 2017 – 2018 school year at          a daily rate of $100.00, subject to the successful completion of the necessary    background checks. (Board Policy GCD)

24.       Approval to purchase Vmath software and printed materials for Hancock North     Central, South Hancock and West Hancock Elementary Schools from Voyager         Sporis Learning in the amount of $10,834.20.

 

25.       Approval to renew the School Status subscription for the 2017 – 2018 school         year in the amount of $20,700.00.

41.       Approval of recommendation to renew the general liability, commercial auto and   school board legal liability insurance coverage in the amount of $194,788.00 for            the 2017 – 2018 school year.

48.       Approval of recommendation to accept the lowest quote for the purchase of 60      student desks for Hancock High School from Worthington Direct in the amount            of $8,193.82.

 

49.       Approval of recommendation for payment in the amount of $72,623.35 to Serve    Pro for clean-up associated with the Middle School flood/fire in January.

 

50.       Approval of the Travel Agenda and related expenses.  (Board Policies JGFB,         CGPF and EDA)

1.         Approval of recommendation to rescind the action taken on May 22, 2017             whereby approval was given to employ Lauren Vierling as teacher for a       contingent contract at Hancock Middle School for the 2017 – 2018 school year.

 

2.         Approval of recommendation to rescind the action take on May 22, 2017   whereby approval was given to make application to the State Department of             Education for a one year interim license in the area of special education        mild/moderate for Lauren Vierling for the 2017– 2018 school year

55.       Approval of recommendation to accept the lowest price quote from Interior Elements to provide renovations for the Hancock High School             Cafeteria         Serving Line Area in the amount of $16,489.53.
