Hancock County School District Announces Job Openings
Hancock County School District (HCSD) has announced that 48 new jobs will be created through ESSER II funding the district will be receiving as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act, 2021, Public Law 116-260, enacted on December 27, 2020. This funding provides emergency relief to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools across the nation.
The new jobs created in the HCSD include an Elementary Reading Specialist, Behavior Therapist, non-certified Interventionists, and certified teaching positions throughout the district’s seven campuses.
