❄️ Weather Update: Delayed Start ❄️
Due to cold morning temperatures, Hancock County School District will start school one hour later than normal on Monday, January 26. This delayed start helps keep students safe and allows time to ensure buses are operating properly so students are not waiting outside in extreme temperatures.
📍 Please note: The graphic includes adjusted arrival times and class start times for each school level.
Families are encouraged to use the StopFinder app for real-time bus updates.
Please continue to monitor ParentSquare and district social media for any additional updates.

Wrestling superfan, Senior Drake Ferguson senior wish was to have a meet and greet with Wrestlers. Today Vladimir Koloff granted his wish. Drake and his family also were invited to attend The GCW (Gulf Coast Wrestling) Event tomorrow night at the National Guard Armory in Kiln. The Wrestlers later stayed and greeted Hancock High School Students & Staff! Thank you to Mr. Dixon for organizing this event for Drake.

📅 Hancock County School District Calendar Vote for 2026–2027
We’re excited to share two calendar options for next school year, and we want to hear from our families, students, and community!
🎬 Watch this quick video to learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G56XbOE0aHo
Both options are nearly identical. The only difference is the October teacher workday:
🍂 Option A – Monday, October 12 (the Monday right after Fall Break)
🎃 Option B – Friday, October 30 (the day before Halloween)
Both calendars keep breaks similar to this year and still allow us to wrap up the school year before the Memorial Day holiday.
🗳️ Please take a moment to cast your vote by December 12:
