All incoming 7th grade students are required to have a Tdap vaccination to complete registration. An updated Mississippi 121 Compliance Form must be turned in to Student Services.
Please note: Registration is not complete and schedules will not be released until the updated MS 121 form is received.

Due to cold morning temperatures, Hancock County School District will start school one hour later than normal on Monday, January 26. This delayed start helps keep students safe and allows time to ensure buses are operating properly so students are not waiting outside in extreme temperatures.

The hunt was on! 🔎🏔️ Our 6th graders explored the Rocky Mountain Region through an exciting scavenger hunt filled with clues, teamwork, and learning. This interactive activity helped bring geography to life as students connected maps, landmarks, and fun facts in a memorable way.

🍭 Tootsie Pop Experiment 🍭
Students conducted a fun, hands-on experiment to estimate how many licks it takes to reach the center of a Tootsie Pop. Each student followed the same procedure—licking only (no biting or chewing!) and counting every lick until the Tootsie Roll center was reached. Students recorded and compared their data, then discussed possible sources of variation such as licking speed, pressure, and tongue size. This sweet activity helped students practice data collection, averaging results, and understanding experimental variables—all while having fun! 😄🔬
