Last week, Ms. Jill's Kindergarten class wrapped up Wildlife Week with a special reading of Buc-ee Goes to School and had so much fun learning about animals, nature, and the adventures of Buc-ee! Our students loved exploring wildlife through stories, activities, and hands-on learning all week long.

Last Thursday, representatives from Alpek Polyester visited HNCE to reveal the winners of this year's plastic recycling art contest. We are thrilled to share that the 2nd grade's "Cirque du Plastic" secured 1st place at the school level and also achieved 1st place overall among competing Hancock Elementary schools. Additionally, our 1st grade project, "Plastic Produce Patch," earned 2nd place. A heartfelt thank you to all the families for contributing plastic materials that helped us bring our projects to life! Check out the photos below to witness our creativity in action.
