We hope you had a great Mardi Gras break! We half way through our Kids Heart Challenge event, and we are having so much fun! We want as many families as possible to learn about heart health and the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR.

Bella Ferrell & Draysen Hubert were selected to represent South Hancock Elementary for the Student Advisory Committee. We’re so proud of these young leaders! They are sure to continue to make waves in and out of the classroom!

The Bloodmobile will be at SHE on Friday, February 13th from 8:00AM-1:00PM. Each child that recruits at least one blood donor will receive a child’s size T-shirt and will be invited to our ice cream party!

We will have a Rally on Thursday, February 5th. Students are encouraged to dress in their class color!

Hancock County School District will resume a normal schedule on Tuesday, January 27.
Thank you to our families and staff for your flexibility and support as we adjusted for weather conditions. We look forward to welcoming students back on a regular schedule tomorrow.

To help clear up any confusion, Hancock County School District will dismiss at normal times today, Monday, January 26.
Although schools started one hour later this morning, dismissal times are not delayed.
