Heather Sours is our Teacher of the Year! As a 5th grade science teacher, she’s always looking for hands-on, engaging ways to bring learning to life for her students. Her passion and dedication shine through in everything she does.
Caroline Fausett is our Staff Member of the Year! Though officially an assistant teacher, she wears many hats—you might find her in the front office, decorating hallways, stepping in for teachers, or supporting students wherever needed.
These two amazing women do so much for our school community, and we’re beyond grateful to call them Wildcats. Thank you for making waves of greatness every day!

Congratulations to the Lowery family on winning the Walmart Gift Card from our Meet the Teacher Night drawing! Families who completed their checklist and turned in their paper were entered for a chance to win, thanks to everyone who participated and helped make the event a success!
This morning, our amazing custodian Ms. Gala was seen walking one of our Wildcats to class with the biggest smile. Just one of the many ways she goes above and beyond for our students.
Ms. Gala is more than just a custodian, she’s a constant source of kindness, care, and support for everyone at WHE. We are so thankful for her big heart and the positive impact she makes every single day! 🐾
