✨ Challenge students recently spent a full day exploring the world of abstract art! ✨
🎨 2nd graders got creative with rulers to design abstract masterpieces.
🎨 3rd graders experimented with beans and rice to craft stunning mosaic art.
🎨 4th graders used a variety of tools to paint bold geometric abstract pieces.

April calendar and Roar Report

WHE 5th Grade Families,
Please mark your calendar for the 5th Grade Flight Ceremony at Hancock Middle School!

WHE families,
Unfortunately, due to the weather, we will have to reschedule Kona Ice again. The new date will be Thursday, April 3rd. Thankfully Kona Ice was able to create a new code for online payments for this date. If you have already paid for your child a Kona Ice, they will still receive that one. If you did not pay for your child a Kona Ice, you may use code: K618222421 at https://customer.kona-ice.com/#/K618222421

Thank you to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Diamondhead for their generous donation of Blessing Bags. Your kindness is making a difference for our Wildcats!

Third Grade would like to RECOGNIZE Wildcats from each homeroom who have been Good Classroom Culture Builders in the third term of school! Those students as shown in the picture are:
Jazmyn Breun from Mrs. Haslauer’s Homeroom: Jazmyn Breun models RESPECT for our school rules and procedures as well as her classmates and teachers. Jazmyn is dependable and helpful! She builds positive RELATIONSHIPS and models responsibility in everything she does at school. This REINFORCES our values at WHE, and we are lucky to have Jazmyn in third grade! Keep up the good work, Jazmyn!
Ryder Bidwell models RELATIONSHIP BUILDING in the classroom and on the playground! He is always looking out for friends and getting them help when they need it. Ryder RECOGNIZES when others need help and is always there to lend a hand. He always shows RESPECT to his peers and teachers. Good job, Ryder!
Averie Glass from Ms. Mooar's Homeroom: Averie models getting RESULTS in all her classes! She comes in every day ready to put her best effort into everything she does. She also models RECOGNITION and RELATIONSHIP BUILDING! Averie is quick to lend a helping hand to the classmates around her, including her teachers! Nice work, Averie!

Due to inclement weather, we will be rescheduling our Kona Ice visit to Monday, March 31st. Unfortunately, we are unable to reopen the online payment system once it has been closed. This decision is made to prioritize the safety of our students, staffulty, and Kona Ice. Thank you for your understanding.
We are excited to announce that WHE has received a generous $250.00 check for the library, presented by Barbara Gilbert on behalf of the Diamondhead Democratic Party Alliance of Diamondhead. Thank you for your continued support!
