These cheer athletes won state last night and headed to SMCC today for cheer camp!! Check out Shawn Dunhurst on the left, former HHS cheerleader who now cheers for Southwest!! #hawkpride

The HMS Hawks Cheer team placed 7th out of 17 teams yesterday in the Junior High game day division! They were only 2 points away from first place! Coach Maty said that she couldn't be more proud of them! Your Hawk family is proud as well!

Alumni Spotlight 2023 Hancock graduate and Lady Hawk 1st baseman Kadence Ladner recently graduated from William Carey University and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She will be teaching one of our new Pre-K classes at South Hancock next month! #hawkpride #onceahawkalwaysahawk

The HMS Girls Soccer team fell 1–0 last night, but they played an incredible game against last year’s champions. The Lady Hawks held strong until the very end and showed just how far hard work and teamwork can go. These girls gave their all this season—showing up, playing tough, and representing their school with pride. Soccer isn’t easy, and they proved their strength and dedication every time they stepped on the field. We are so proud of this team! A big thank you to their coach for her leadership and the impact she’s made. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her the best in her next chapter. Great job and great season, Lady Hawks! ⚽💚🤍

The Hancock Cross Country Team had their first annual end of season celebration this past weekend. An evening to acknowledge the hard work, growth, and sportsmanship displayed across our cross country team.
