🚗 Car Rider Drop-Off Times
As we prepare to Make Waves of Greatness this school year, here are the morning car rider drop-off times for each campus in Hancock County School District. ⏰

🚘 Student drivers who drop off siblings at other campuses may apply for a Priority Transportation Permit. This permit allows them to move to the front of the middle school car line to help ensure an on-time arrival at Hancock High.

🚌 Electronic Bus Emergency Forms Now Available!

The Hancock County School District Department of Transportation is now accepting online Bus Emergency Forms for the 2025–2026 school year.

🔹 One form must be completed per child
🔹 A completed form is required for a student to be eligible to ride a school bus
🔹 Each student is allowed two transportation addresses:
 • Their registered home address
 • One alternate drop-off/pick-up location
🔹 Emergency address changes must be approved by the Transportation Director. Call 228-255-6256 or email transportation@hancockschools.net

📅 Forms are due by the end of the third week of school.

We are thrilled to share that Ms. Riesha is stepping into a new role this upcoming school year—as a classroom teacher! After making a lasting impact as a dedicated teacher assistant, she is bringing her passion, heart, and talent into their very own classroom. We couldn’t be prouder and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll accomplish in this next chapter. Join us in cheering her on as she begins this exciting journey!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Tucker! Dr. William Tucker is excited to join the Gator Family after serving as an administrator at Hancock North Central Elementary for the last 3.5 years. He earned a BA in English at Concordia University, Irvine before moving to England where he earned a MA in English at University College London and a Ph.D. in English at Royal Holloway, University of London. He then moved to Mississippi where he earned a MA in Teaching and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.

We can’t wait to see our Gators and their families at Meet & Greet! It’s going to be a great start to an exciting new school year!

Once a Gator, Always a Gator! Thank you Mrs. Julie Stiglets for your service to EHE! Mrs. Stiglets served at EHE for 14 years, 11 as a teacher in Kindergarten and 4th grade and 3 as Assistant Principal. Thank you for your instructional strength, compassion for our students and staffulty and attention to all the important details and traditions that make our school uniquely East Hancock. You will be incredibly missed! We wish you ALL the best as you take on the Waves of Greatness as a Dolphin at SHE! We 💚 You!
