Big news from Ms. Lawshe’s class!
Our young authors have officially become published writers! After weeks of hard work, creativity, and dedication, each student has written and published their very own book. From imaginative adventures to heartfelt stories, these books are a true reflection of their talent and passion.
We couldn’t be prouder of these future best-selling authors—way to go, Ms. Lawshe’s class!

Update-

Today, our students proudly wore red to show their support for military families and honor the brave men and women who are currently deployed.
We remember you. We thank you. We stand with you.

This week, our students got a taste of something special in the library—a book tasting experience hosted by the one and only Chef Green!
With menus in hand, they sampled a variety of genres and discovered some delicious new reads to devour.
A huge thank you to Chef Green for serving up such a fun and engaging literary feast!

Congratulations to Ms. Griffith for receiving the Gritty Gator from Ms. Tammi!

We had a paws-itively amazing time! The Pet Teams of South Mississippi Pet Therapy Group visited Mrs. Griffith’s classroom at East Hancock, and our students got to meet some wonderful service dogs. They even had the chance to read and look at books with their new furry friends! A great day for everyone!

April is the Month of the Military Child, and today we’re showing support for military kids by wearing purple for #PurpleUp! 💜 Students across the nation are joining together to honor the strength and resilience of military families. Let's stand united and show our appreciation for these incredible kids who sacrifice so much.

Let's cheer our Gators on to "knock it out of the park"!

April is School Library Month.
School libraries encourage reading and self-education, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, teach positive social skills, and most importantly, they can ignite a life long love of reading.
Our little Gators in the EHE Library build friendships, learn teamwork, and gain knowledge of our community and world which helps prepare them for life in a global society.
There is always something new, fun, and magical awaiting our children in our library.

We are so proud of our AR top readers for term 3! All our these kids read and tested on the most books in their classes.
They each received a book from the vending machine for their hard work.
Ari Levenson was the top reader at EHE!

Please join us for our April PTO meeting!

Congratulations to our March Students of the Month!

Congratulations to our kindergarten Gators who made their AR Goal for the very first time! Keep up the good work!
