She works to support our library every week by shelving books, helping in our activity classes and providing Mrs. Green with back up on projects! She also helps out in classrooms as well! Families, don’t forget — our holiday parties are coming up soon! We’re so excited to celebrate the season together. Students are welcome to come dressed in their holiday-themed outfits or their holiday best — think festive sweaters, sparkly dresses, or whatever makes them feel merry and bright! We can’t wait to celebrate all the hard work and joy of this season with our amazing students!
2025-2026 Term 2 EHE Principal Advisory Lunch
Our student leaders met with Dr. B today and did an incredible job sharing thoughtful feedback about our school. They represented their grade-level peers with pride and maturity!
When asked about their favorite things at EHE, they didn’t hesitate — our amazing teachers and staff, the janitors who keep our school spotless, and of course… stuffed crust pizza and cheesy chicken & rice!
We’re so proud of these Gators and grateful for their voices in helping make EHE the best it can be! 💚🐊

📅 Hancock County School District Calendar Vote for 2026–2027
We’re excited to share two calendar options for next school year, and we want to hear from our families, students, and community!

Both options are nearly identical. The only difference is the October teacher workday:
🍂 Option A – Monday, October 12 (the Monday right after Fall Break)
🎃 Option B – Friday, October 30 (the day before Halloween)
Both calendars keep breaks similar to this year and still allow us to wrap up the school year before the Memorial Day holiday.

Our third graders are ready to rock and roll in their upcoming play, “Elfis”.🎅🎸 Join us for this festive performance filled with music, laughter, and plenty of holiday spirit as our talented students take the stage to shine!
Our fifth graders are spreading holiday cheer in their upcoming play, “An Old-Fashioned Christmas”! Step back in time with us for a heartwarming performance filled with classic charm, festive songs, and the true spirit of the season.

Community kindness at its finest!
Our annual Food Drive was a huge success — we collected 791 pounds of food, enough to help feed 391 people in our community! What an incredible impact our Gator family continues to make.
And a big shoutout to our kindergartners, who took first place by bringing in the most food! Their big hearts made a big difference.
Thank you to all our students, families, and staff who contributed. Together, we make our community stronger!
