Reminder-
To wrap up their unit on poverty and homelessness, fifth grade students in Challenge led a school-wide blessing bag drive for the second year in a row! Thanks to their hard work and the generosity of our school community, we were able to create 70 blessing bags filled with essentials like blankets, toiletries, snacks, and other wellness items to support those in need.
The bags were delivered to King’s Kitchen, and we’re so grateful to Lisa Beckemeyer for making the delivery for us! This experience was a powerful lesson in empathy, awareness, and taking action to help others.
Thank you to everyone who contributed—your kindness makes a difference!
