Friday was National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and Coach Austen and Ms. B’s class helped us celebrate by making heartfelt thank-you notes and hand-delivering them to Officer Bob.

Our 3rd graders had a wonderful time participating in a Candy Cane Exchange with their classmates! It was such a fun way to spread kindness, practice giving, and enjoy a little holiday cheer together. 🎄✨ We love seeing their excitement and the smiles this tradition brings!

🌊 Wave Maker of the Week: Mrs. Lee! 🎨💙
Mrs. Lee brings creativity and encouragement to her Art classroom every day. She’s always one of the first to step up—whether covering duties, planning programs, or sharing her talents to help our school shine.
Thank you, Mrs. Lee, for all you do!

🎓 Congratulations, Ms. Kadence Ladner! 🎓
We are so proud to celebrate Ms. Kadence Ladner, who has officially graduated from William Carey University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education!
While we will miss her dearly at West Hancock, we are excited to see her take this next step in her journey as she moves to South Hancock to teach one of their brand-new Pre-K classes next month.
Ms. Ladner, thank you for all you have poured into our Wildcats. We wish you the very best as you continue to make a difference in the lives of young learners—your future students are so lucky to have you!
