🚌 Electronic Bus Emergency Forms Now Available!

The Hancock County School District Department of Transportation is now accepting online Bus Emergency Forms for the 2025–2026 school year.

🔹 One form must be completed per child
🔹 A completed form is required for a student to be eligible to ride a school bus
🔹 Each student is allowed two transportation addresses:
 • Their registered home address
 • One alternate drop-off/pick-up location
🔹 Emergency address changes must be approved by the Transportation Director. Call 228-255-6256 or email transportation@hancockschools.net

📅 Forms are due by the end of the third week of school.

We are proud to recognize three outstanding members of our WHE team who go above and beyond for our students and staffulty every single day: Kellie Monahan-Jones – Our amazing 5th grade ELA teacher who not only delivers engaging lessons but also builds meaningful relationships with her students and supports her fellow teachers with a heart full of Wildcat pride. Crystal Smith – A dedicated assistant teacher who keeps the classroom running smoothly and never hesitates to step up when needed — often before anyone even has to ask. Officer Bob – Our beloved school security officer who ensures we are safe and protected every day.
