HCCTC's very own Work Based Learning instructor, Ms. Schenel Fricke, presented at the MS ACTE Conference! She shared student highlights and other successful strategies with fellow Work Based Learning colleagues. Ms. Vanessa Chatelain, our career coach from SMPDD, accompanied Mrs. Fricke and together they explained the benefits of supporting each other and working together to help students. Our Work Based Learning Program is a great way for students to earn academic credits and also work and earn money while obtaining real life work experience! Thank you, Ms. Fricke and Ms. Chatelain for your hard work and a great presentation! They had a few fans who showed up for support! All 10's!!! 😁👍🏻

📣 Dress Code Update for 2025–2026 Hancock County School District has updated its student dress code to reflect a more flexible, guideline-based approach—thanks to feedback from our families and staffulty. Out of 1,895 total survey responses, 70.3% supported moving away from the previous uniform-style policy to a dress code based on general expectations for appropriate attire. 👕 Students will now have more choice—while still being expected to dress neatly and appropriately for school. 🎥 Watch this short video for an overview of what’s changing and what’s expected: 🔗 https://youtu.be/vM-kdG5MPRE 📘 View the full 2025–2026 dress code in the student handbook at www.hancockschools.net
