Happy Custodian Appreciation Day!! Thank you for all you do each and every day to keep our school clean, safe and comfortable. Your hard work, kindness and commitment make a huge difference, and we are so grateful for you!!

Our Early Childhood students showcased their creativity by decorating the classroom doors for both Fall and Kindness Month in October. The girls did an incredible job, demonstrating their artistic talents and teamwork skills. They collaborated in small groups, learning to communicate effectively with one another as they made decisions about their designs. This experience not only allowed them to express their individual creativity but also helped them understand the importance of working together and valuing each other's ideas. #MakingWaveaOfGreatness #HawksHaveGrit

During the visit, students learned about composite materials and the innovative work taking place at the institute. Students then put their knowledge into practice as they participated in a hands-on bridge building activity, testing their creativity, teamwork, and design process skills.

Mrs Davis' Ed Prep students started their Field Experience at East Hancock this month. Each student is assigned a teacher whom they will shadow throughout the year. Students are required to have a minimum of 75 observation hours over the two-year period. This program gives our students a first-hand look at all aspects of teaching, which is so valuable. These future educators were excited to begin working with their mentor teacher and their students.
