Congratulations to Hue Ruebel, one of our very own HCCTC students, for being "Employee of the Month" at Coffee Culture!! Hue takes our Work Based Learning course, where students earn course credits while working at a local business. She is also in our Health Sciences Program at HCCTC. Hue, we are so proud of you!!
Congratulations to Coach Feazelle for being this week's HCCTC WaveMaker!! Coach Feazelle makes sure his students get a comprehensive view of the field, exposing them to everything from law enforcement and first responder roles to the intricacies of the court system, even guiding them as they research information and perform mock trials. He goes above and beyond, even volunteering his time on weekends, as he recently accompanied his students on a Saturday to a Safety Day with local law enforcement and emergency responders. Some of the cutest Trick-or-Treaters walked the halls of HCCTC today!! Our
Hawk's Nest babies were dressed in their costumes and ready to go!! They brought their best smiles and manners as they walked the halls, had their buckets filled with treats and always remembered to say "thank you"!! 🚨 Safety Update for Friday Night’s Game 🚨
H Nation, we want everyone to enjoy Senior Night while feeling protected and comfortable. OpenGate weapon detectors will be in use at all stadium entrances, and additional security will be on site throughout the event. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to keep every student, staff member, and guest safe.
Once you’re in, get ready to cheer loud and celebrate our amazing seniors under those Friday night lights! Gates open at 5:30 PM, so come early and pack the stands with Hawk pride! 💙🦅🏈

KINDNESS month continued at HCCTC this week!! It was a group effort from our amazing students and teachers. Some of the students and teachers stuffed bags with candy and uplifting, positive notes while others handed them out to students and local businesses, nearby. HCCTC had a couple of special guests today!! Lt. Governor, Delbert Hosemann and Senator Philman Ladner were accompanied by Mr. Ladner for a tour of our programs and to take a look at the wonderful things going on at the CTC.

Chef Dani is a WaveMaker at HCCTC!! She and her Culinary II students have worked diligently each week to take orders and prepare salads and Italian sandwiches to sell on Fridays. Today, our Culinary students participated in a "Cupcake War" which required them to not only showing off their amazing baking skills, but also their creative side. Students worked in groups to create and decorate a cupcake theme. CTC teachers did a taste test to judge creativity and flavor.
