We kicked off the new school year with our first rally of the year on Wednesday, and what a way to celebrate! From kindergarten through 5th grade, our students packed the gym with energy, school spirit, and smiles!

One of the highlights? A hilarious inflatable costume race featuring some brave and enthusiastic teachers — trust us, it was a sight to see! 😂👏

We also took a moment to welcome our new Staffulty members and give them a warm, spirited introduction to our amazing school family. 💛

And a huge congratulations to our newly crowned Staffulty of the Year — Ms. Kirsten Mitchell and Ms. Ramona Ladner. Thank you for your incredible dedication and heart. We’re lucky to have you! ✨

Our kindergarteners wrapped up their unit on colors in the most delicious way — by making Pete the Cat Fruit Pizzas! 🐾🍓🫐🍍

After exploring colors through books, art, and hands-on activities, today they got to bring it all together using brightly colored fruits to decorate their own sweet creations. It was the perfect mix of learning and fun — and yes, Pete the Cat would definitely say, “It’s all good!” 😎

Great job, baby Hawks — we’re so proud of how much you’ve grown already! 💙

HNCE August Cafeteria Menus

Our Kindergarten artists had a blast creating scissor salads after reading “Scissors on Strike” and learning all about scissor safety! 🥗✂️ These little creators practiced their cutting skills while serving up some seriously creative (and safe!) masterpieces.

Meanwhile, other students explored our Early Finisher centers — full of imagination, hands-on fun, and plenty of chances to stretch their creativity.
