This week, students across Hancock County School District participated in school bus emergency evacuation drills to help them stay calm, confident, and prepared in case of an emergency. These drills teach students how to exit the bus safely, follow the driver’s instructions, and understand what to do if something unexpected happens while riding.

Representatives from all schools came together at the PAC to share ideas, play team-building games, and discuss ways to improve the student experience across our district.
This group of young leaders is already showing leadership and a true commitment to making a difference. We can’t wait to see what waves they make this year! 🌊🙌
