Whitney McCardle is a proud Hancock High School alumna who has dedicated the past 19 years to serving the Hancock County School District. She has spent her entire career at the Hancock County Career Technical Center, including 17 years in The Hawks Nest.
Now serving as the Early Childhood Education instructor, Whitney is passionate about teaching high school students how to care for and nurture the next generation. We’re honored to have her voice on this year’s Staff Advisory Council!

Due to the ongoing air conditioning outage, Hancock High School will be CLOSED Friday to allow our team time to complete repairs and ensure the building is ready for students to safely return on Monday.
🔹 This closure is for HHS only
🔹 Middle and elementary schools will remain on normal schedule
