🎉 Honoring Mr. Billy Thomas 🎉
After 16 years of dedicated service on the Hancock County School Board, Mr. Billy Thomas is retiring. With over 35 years in education, including time as a physical education teacher in Hancock County, Mr. Thomas has left a lasting impact on our schools, students, and community.
To honor his legacy, the Mississippi School Boards Association recognized his “exemplary service, dedication to good governance, and steadfast commitment to the success of all students.” Additionally, the home ticket and entrance area to the Hancock High School football field will now be named the “William ‘Billy’ Thomas Gate.”
Thank you, Mr. Thomas, for your unwavering commitment to Hancock County School District. Your contributions will be remembered for years to come.
