Regina Moran

Regina Moran has served as the Hancock County School District 16th Section Land Manager for 3 years.  Prior to moving into this position, she served as Hancock High School’s secretary/bookkeeper for 23 years.  She is excited to learn and serve the residents of Hancock County in a new field.

During her first two years of being in Hancock County School District, she was assistant coach to the Lady Hawks Volleyball team, and she became the head coach.  In 2001 she acted as the official scorekeeper for the Lady Hawks Basketball team at the middle school and high school.  She was very involved in student activities on a daily basis and was always most excited to participate in anything that brought joy to students.  Her favorite time of year was Christmas because she was in charge of the Angel Tree for the High School.  She enjoyed seeing her peers and students participate in this tradition.  To her, the most important roll she has plays was that of the “cool but firm office lady”, as she was always ready for any student who needed an ear and a chair and a need to reset and focus for the rest of the day.

Ms. Moran is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana.  She has been married to the Honorable Justice Court Judge, Eric C. Moran, Sr. of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi for 40 years.  Together, they have four children, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  All of her children have attended Hancock County Schools.  She enjoys music, dancing, sports, traveling, and spending time with her family.
